Marcel Somerville’s date night with Gabby Allen ruined as thieves smash his car windows and steal laptop full of his new music
The reality stars car was vandalised as he slams "vile" thieves
LOVE Island's Marcel Somerville has been left devastated after his car was broken into and the contents robbed.
His laptop and ten years worth of music samples were taken, as well as a new tune he's been working on.
The incident happened whilst he was on a date with girlfriend Gabby Allen on Monday night.
Posting a photo of the vandalised car on Instagram - which had the entire back window smashed in - he wrote: "#Devastated can't believe how vile some people are in this world.
"Took Gabs to see a show and to dinner, come back to that and my MCM bag gone with my new Macbook Pro in it with all the parts to my new tune and my USB with every sample I've collected over the last 10 years! I'm fuming! Absolutely gutted!"
It's believed the pair were out for Gabby's birthday, as the fitness fanatic had Tweeted just hours before "Best pre birthday news evaaaaaa... #happybirthdaytome"
The Blazin' Squad star had previously said he planned to release new music this year.
When asked in December how he felt about Love Island co-stars Chris Hughes and Kem Cetinay having a number 1 hit single with their track Little Bit Leave It - which he co-wrote whilst in the villa - he said there were no hard feelings.
He told “I’m happy for the boys and not jealous at all. I was asked to do the single but felt like it was a novelty record.
"I’m working on my own material which will be out next year.”

He later hinted he was owed writing credits on Little Bit Leave It, when he wrote: "Boys the tune sounds sick!!! I hope u did the right thing with the chorus & bars I wrote."
Gabby Allen has also branded it a “novelty track” in the past, saying: "They did so well from it [the song] and congrats to them.
"Marcel is a serious producer and he wants to focus on making an actual career out of music, so to do a novelty track would kind of bring him down."
