Gary Barlow reveals throwback snap from before five stone weight loss as he vows never to pile on the pounds again
The Take That singer has overhauled his life to make sure he does not pile on the weight again
GARY Barlow has lifted a weight off his shoulders - by sharing a throwback photo from his heavier days that he says stops him piling the weight back on.
The Take That singer admitted he keeps the snap as a reminder to help him stick to his healthy regime.
The 47-year-old shared the snap with his 261,000 Instagram followers, saying: "These pictures keep me on the straight and narrow.
"I remember those times and how I felt - awful - I will never allow myself to feel like that again. I’m in control."
It's believed the photo is from the late 1990s when Gary's weight spiralled after Take That split and his second solo album flopped.
At his heaviest he was classified as obese and weighed 16st 11lb, however he's since overhauled his diet and now weighs under 12 stone.
At the start of every year, Gary shares his "Barlow's boot camp" regime.
The schedule includes yoga, breakfast smoothies and fermented foods to make sure he remains in peak condition.
His throwback picture comes as The Sun's Bizarre column revealed Gary was to launch a New Year fitness boot camp after overcoming battle with unhealthy eating.
He will rival workout gurus such as Joe Wicks and Davina McCall by launching his own fitness boot camp, which will also offer tips on healthy eating.
