Survival Of The Fittest host Laura Whitmore reveals she’s ‘obsessed’ with Davina McCall’s age-defying abs and refuses to strip off to a bikini until she has a body like hers
LAURA Whitmore has revealed she is “obsessed” with Davina McCall’s six-pack and fears being pictured in a bikini as she doesn’t have a body like hers.
The presenter, 32, vows she will never strip off for sexy shoots again and wants to save herself for comedian boyfriend Iain Sterling.
Davina, 50, divided opinion with photos of her age-defying abs after some fans questioned whether her love for exercise and healthy eating had gone too far.
But Survival Of The Fittest host Laura is envious of Davina’s muscular figure and likes her ripped stomach.
Speaking in South Africa where the new reality show is filmed she said: “I would get in a bikini if I looked like Davina McCall and had her body.
“She looks incredible and I’m obsessed with her. I like her six-pack. A woman can be whatever she wants to be and I choose to be a little bit soft.
“No one wants to see me in a bikini anymore. Even when I did FHM I probably wore more clothes than the average person and that was around eight years ago.
“I wouldn’t do anything like that again.”
Laura hopes contestants on ITV2 show The Survival Of The Fittest will have sex on TV and that viewers compare it to raunchy series Love Island.
She said: “I definitely want to see them go all the way. People have needs.
“If they like each other enough and care about each other then why not?
“They’re going to be living together in a different country, they will form bonds and they’re all single.
“These shows do create romances that last.”
Laura, who’s in a relationship with Love Island voiceover star Iain, is hoping to make up for lost time with her boyfriend after spending a month apart.
She said: “It’s Valentine’s Day next week and I’m going to be in South Africa and he’s going to be in Hull and it’s our first Valentine’s Day as a couple.

“But we’re going to make it up when he’s home. He’s great and he’s my friend and I’m enjoying it. I’m enjoying being with him and I’m happy.”
A team of male contestants will face a group of females in the ultimate battle of the sexes when the show launches on Sunday.
The likes of Danny Dyer’s daughter Dani and Georgia Toffolo’s ex James Middleton feature in the line-up of twelve hopefuls competing in challenges to win the £40,000 prize.
