DANNY Dyer has showed his support for daughter Dani after she was forced to quit Survival of the Fittest.

The EastEnders hard-man admitted he wasn’t sure if his heart could take three weeks of the show, after his child dislocated her shoulder in the dramatic first episode.

Sharing a shot of them together, he wrote: “Live and Let Live baby girl. Taken out by a b*****ky slide. Don’t think my heart could have taken another 3 weeks of that caper. #proud.”

It was previously revealed that the 40-year-old actor was worried about people having sex on the show that he almost didn’t allow his 21-year-old to take part.

And Dani also admitted that her dad would “do over” anyone who upset her on the show – so it seems the lads, particularly Callum have had a lucky escape.

During tonight’s episode viewers watched in horror as barmaid Dani dislocated a shoulder as she landed badly after careering headfirst down a waterslide while filming a challenge.

Danny Dyer's daughter Dani suffers horrific injury as she takes on first challenge on Survival of the Fittest

She was treated on site then taken to hospital on Saturday afternoon — a day after entering the ITV2 show’s lodge in the South African wild.

Producers decided she was not fit to continue on the show from the makers of Love Island.

A source told The Sun: “It was a really nasty fall. Dani knew straight away she had done serious damage but tried to continue as she didn’t want to seem like a wuss. It was too much, though, and she was taken to hospital."

“Due to the nature of the series, where the boys and girls battle tough physical challenges, as well as mental ones, the producers decided Dani would have to be replaced. It’s a shame for everyone because she was looking forward to taking part and ITV were chuffed to sign her.”

Meanwhile Dani has spoken about her exit, admitting she was gutted about not being able to continue.

She said: “I can’t put into words how amazing it was so I am gutted I can’t do any challenges but I am rooting for the girls, all the way, we have to win. Especially now we have win, they have to do it for me,” she said.

“I am going to sit back and rest and watch every single night and hope they win every challenge.”
