The 21-year-old was forced into quitting the ITV2 show through injury, a day after entering the show's lodge in the South African wild.
Due to the nature of the series, where the boys and girls battle tough physical challenges, as well as mental ones, the producers decided she was not fit to continue on the show.
Dani, 22, admitted she was gutted at having to pull out of the show after the first task went awry.
The aspiring actress revealed she would be rooting for the girls to win from her sofa.
How did she dislocate her shoulder?
Barmaid Dani dislocated a shoulder as she landed badly after tumbling headfirst down a waterslide whilst filming a challenge.
She was treated on site before being taken to hospital where the decision was made that she would have to withdraw from the competition.
Dani has said she will be rooting for the girls to win from her sofa.
"I can't put it into words how amazing it was so I am gutted I can't do any challenges but I am rooting for the girls, all the way, we have to win. They have to do it for me," she said.
Who will be replacing her?
22-year old Lottie James from Carmarthen, Wales has been drafted into the South African desert to replace Danny Dyer's injured daughter.
The waitress/farmer's biggest claim to fame is an Instagram follow from rugby player Gareth Davis.
She describes herself as "ditzy, wild and outgoing" and is determined to prove that women are the stronger sex.
Lottie has said she is on the lookout for "big, muscly, rugby-looking guys with dark hair."
