Who is Sacha Baron Cohen?

Sacha Baron Cohen was born on October 13, 1971.

The 46-year-old actor is originally from Hammersmith, London.

He created the comedic character of Ali G - a satirical figure who wore a bright yellow tracksuit and was part of the "Berkshire Massif" group.

Since then, Sacha has broken into Hollywood, having starred in various blockbusters over the years.

Who is the Who Is America's wife Isla Fisher?

Isla Fisher is a 42-year-old Hollywood actress.

Raised by his Scottish parents, Fisher grew up in Oman before heading to Perth, Australia.

She's most famous for her roles in The Great Gatsby, Wedding Crashers and Now You See Me.

Who Is America was Sacha Baron Cohen's latest project for 2018.

The seven-part undercover satirical comedy series marks his first full TV series since Da Ali G Show in 2004.

Network Showtime said the programme: "Will explore the diverse individuals... across the political and cultural spectrum" in the US.

On July 4 the actor-provocateur took to Twitter with a comeback video that showed President Donald Trump describing Baron Cohen as a "third-rate character."

In another preview clip, former US Vice President Dick Cheney seems to agree to autograph a "waterboard kit."

Why is Sacha Baron Cohen being sued by Roy Moore?

On September 6, 2018, it was announced that Sacha is being sued for £73million for defamation over ‘Who Is America?’ Roy Moore skit.

Roy Moore, a former chief justice of Alabama’s Supreme Court, claims a disguised Sacha duped him into appearing on his new show and tried to portray him as a sex offender.

The lawsuit said Sacha's show mocked him with a "false and fraudulent portrayal" that harmed Moore's reputation and caused "severe emotional distress" to his family.

In the disputed sketch, the comedian, posing as ex-Mossad agent Colonel Erran Morad, demonstrated what he said was a 'gadget' for detecting paedophiles.

The 'wand' detector beeped when it came into Republican politician Moore's range.

What is Sacha's link to OJ Simpson?

In February 2018, it was first revealed that Sacha met ex-American football star OJ Simpson in a hotel room in Las Vegas.

Simpson was released from prison last year, following a botched armed robbery attempt. This came after his acquittal for the murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and waiter Ronald Goldman.

Sacha Baron Cohen was reportedly in talks with Simpson about a new film, and according to the , paid the athlete £15,000 to appear in it.

According to the source, OJ Simpson 'would not get in the room until he was paid a sackload of cash.'

However, it then emerged Sacha had duped OJ into being part of the finale of his series Who Is America? by trying to get him to admit to the infamous double murder under the persona of an Italian photographer Gio Monaldo.
