We look at the best of this week’s DVD releases from horror film Jigsaw to family fun film My Little Pony: The Movie
Other films in our review this week are The Party and Girlfriends
Jigsaw
(18), Out Feb 26
When bodies start turning up all over town, with jigsaw pieces carved out from their skin, cops begin to wonder if the gruesome yet ingenious serial killer Jigsaw is back to haunt them.
In true Saw form, it's got blood and guts aplenty right from the start.
Although slightly tamer than previous instalments, Jigsaw offers up all you would expect from a Saw movie along with a well thought out twist at the end.
A must for any hardcore Saw fan, and entertaining to those new to the series.

The Party
(15), Out Feb 19
A motley middle-class crew of elites are invited to celebrate their host’s appointment as shadow health minister.
But secrets begin to pour out as freely as the red wine, and events quickly descend into full-blown farcical violence - Lock Stock and a Tray of smoking vol au vents.
Shot in real-time black and white, this indie flick has an intimacy you’d normally expect from the theatre, and clocking in at just over an hour it certainly feels made for it.
But as a satirical take on the workings of love and a domestic life in politics, there are some great observations.
Like the shocking news that our host’s sick husband received, horror-of-horrors, private medical treatment.
How will she spin that? With a stellar list of guests including Timothy Spall, Kristin Scott Thomas, Cillian Murphy and the excellent Patricia Clarkson, there are some deliciously dark laughs to be enjoyed throughout the party - thankfully from a safe, fly-on-the-wall vantage point.

Girlfriends
(12), Out Feb 26
Phyllis Logan, Miranda Richardson and Zoe Wanamaker star as Linda, Sue and Gail, life-long friends navigating bereavement, divorce and redundancy in this six-part ITV series.
Linda’s life falls apart when husband Micky vanishes off a cruise ship - did he jump, was he pushed or is he about to emerge from the shed?
Sue gets the sack for being past it, from a boss she has had a fling with for decades.
And Gail is divorcing and has three generations to care for.
A full-on sofa saga.

My Little Pony: The Movie
(U), Out now
The Mane Six gang must go on a quest to save their magical powers from the scary Storm King.
The best part is when Tempest falls in love.
It is exciting waiting to see how Twilight Sparkle gets rescued from the baddies by the mermaid pony.
The animation is fantastic and the songs are amazing.
This film is perfect for five-year-olds, especially if you like being under the sea.
