Ferne McCann will finally speak openly about acid attacker ex Arthur Collins as First Time Mum is recommissioned for three-part series
FERNE McCann will finally speak openly about acid attacker ex Arthur Collins as First Time Mum is recommissioned for a three-part series.
The former Towie star, 27, starts filming for the second season with friends and family next week.
The mum-of-one intends to open up about her turmoil over ex Arthur, who was jailed for 20 years over a nightclub acid attack that left clubbers scarred for life.
A show insider revealed: “First Time Mum will be returning this year after fans were left wanting more when the show made its debut with one episode before Christmas.
“Ferne has completely thrown herself into being a full-time mum and she’s really excited to share more of her and Sunday’s adventures with her fans after being given three hour-long shows.
“During the last series, Ferne spoke about coping with pregnancy at the same time her ex-partner was on trial for an acid attack that took place last April.
“And she’s already told producers that she’s happy to speak about Arthur again following his jail sentence – and her plans of making a life without him.
“She’s also planning on opening up about getting back in shape and losing her hair after the birth of Sunday.”
The programme will also once again have intimate access to Ferne’s close circle of family and friends, including her former Towie co-stars James Argent and Billie Faiers.
Ferne, who welcomed her first child Sunday into the world in November, is raising her daughter alone following her split from her ex-boyfriend.

In December, Collins was sentenced to 20 years behind bars after carrying out an acid attack and maiming 16 people at Mangle nightclub in East London last April.
Meanwhile, earlier this week The Sun revealed how Collins has hired a top barrister in an attempt to appeal against his sentence.
It is believed the cost of hiring Michael Wolkind QC will stretch to £50,000.
An ITV spokeswoman declined to comment.
