Coleen Rooney shares second picture of baby Cass as eldest son Kai lovingly cradles him

COLEEN Rooney has shared a second picture of her newborn son Cass as he’s cradled by her eldest boy Kai.

In the tender picture eight-year-old Kai holds little Cass and goes to kiss him as he’s wrapped in a white and blue baby grow and blue blanket.

The 31-year-old mum-of-four captioned the shot: “Morning kisses 💙😘💙”

On Thursday morning Coleen announced the arrival of her son in a tweet reading: “So Happy to welcome our Baby Boy .... Cass Mac Rooney into the world weighing a healthy 8lb 10oz. He is beautiful 💙”

While her footballer husband Wayne joked: “5-a-side team complete! Welcome to the world Cass 💙💙💙💙”

Later she tweeted her thanks to all those of have supported her, posting: “Thank you all for the lovely well wishes and messages.

“Really appreciate them. We are all in love with our Baby Cass who is Home, healthy and happy. Xx”

She also thanked the hospital staff at Liverpool Women’s NHS Foundation Trust.

She added: “Thank you so much @LiverpoolWomens hospital ..... as it always has been with my other children .... you were fantastic again.”

“We are so lucky to have such fantastic and caring doctors, nurses, midwives and staff etc to look after us.

“I really appreciate all your hard work x"

Coleen announced the news of her son's arrival alongside an adorable black and white photo.

But while fans were quick to send their congratulations, some wondered why baby Cass’ name didn’t start with a K like her and 32-year old Wayne's sons Kai, eight, Klay, four and Kit, two.

One fan tweeted: “One wrote: “No do kass keep with the k theme lol.”

“Omg beautiful name .. you should of spelt it kass to stick with the tradition. Congratulations,” added another.

Another joked: “Can we focus on the real issue as to why she has spelt Cass with a C and not a K. You had one job Coleen.”
