Katie Price reveals she contacts spirits with Ouija Boards as she prepares to go into Celebrity Haunted Mansion
KATIE Price has revealed her upcoming appearance on Celebrity Haunted Mansion won't mark her first brush with the supernatural.
The Loose Women star seemingly fancies herself as the next Yvette Fielding after admitting she regularly uses Ouija boards and has even chanted a spirit or two.
Her love of the paranormal will certainly come in handy as the 39-year-old gears herself up for her five-night stay in a supposedly haunted Gothic mansion this week.
The mother-of-five will be bunking up alongside a string of showbiz names, including Towie's Lydia Bright, Corrie's Simon Gregson, ex Hollyoaks star Jorgie Porter and boxer Anthony Ogogo.
Blue's Simon Webbe, Made in Chelsea's Mark-Francis Vandelli and The Apprentice star Luisa Zissman will also be checking in.
Famed for her feisty demeanour, Katie insisted that it'll take a lot to scare her - in fact, she's hoping to be contacted by a ghost.
She told The Mirror: "I like to try Ouija boards, I do things with candles, I chant spirits, I do everything I can!
"All I wanna do is hear something and be convinced."
The outspoken star insisted she'll remain on good terms with all of her fellow housemates - though that doesn't mean she might not play a spooky trick or two.
She quipped: "I don’t hate anybody. Whether I like or hate anybody, if they’re entering the house with me, put it all aside – we’re in a dark house.
"But who knows, when you’re behind that door, I might just knock you round the head and pretend I’m a spirit!"
Celebrity Haunted Mansion, which will air on W, will be hosted by Christine Lampard, while the two competing celebrity teams will be led by Jack Osbourne and paranormal expert Jason Hawes.
The celebrity contestants will take part in live ghost hunts in a bid to decipher the secrets of the mansion.
Each star will also fight to survive the public vote each night in the hopes of being crowned Celebrity Ghost Hunter.
