Survival of the Fittest reject Lottie James replaced by Essex girl Sydney Devereaux
SURVIVAL of the Fittest reject Lottie James has been replaced by Essex girl Sydney Devereaux.
Lottie left the South African lodge last night when she lost the challenge against Georgia – after both girls were put up after their love interests accused them of being “snakes”.
Lottie was in tears last night when she was booted out of the lodge but her fellow contestants can't brood about her exit for too long as new girl Sydney arrives.
The 24-year-old says her unique selling point is her "flirtatious" personality and says she's open to finding love on the show.
She said: "Watching the show, I can see there is no one in there like me. I’m quite mischievous, energetic, bubbly. I’m very flirtatious.
"If I don’t fancy you, I can make you feel like the best person in the world. If I fancy you, I’m not as nice. It does mean I can lead people on the wrong way sometimes.
"I am a sucker for love. When I started watching Mariam getting close to Callum, I was a bit dubious but now watching them and seeing how they look at each other, I think it’s amazing.
"What a wonderful place to meet someone. I have been in love but it didn’t work out, since then it’s softened me as a person to other people’s feelings… If I do meet someone and we fall in love, amazing."
She already has her eye on a few of the Boys team saying: "Personality-wise I like Warren because he is soft but manly and caring and really genuine.
"I think Callum has great banter, he makes me laugh. Someone like Callum or Tristan, I would get along with very well because they are boisterous.
"Romantically so far, if anything was to happen it would be with Warren," she added.
Warren was in tears last night over Lottie's departure as he nominated her to face the challenge after she said new boy Joel was her type.
He felt it was his fault that she had left the competition saying: "I do regret putting her up. I was upset because we just got on and it took a while for me to come out and chat to girls".
Will Sydney be able to dry his tears?
Sydney says the Girls team aren't as "solid as the Boys" and she wants to help the team bond and become stronger.
She said: "The Boys are really solid, even when they lose they are uplifting each other. Whereas with the Girls, they are more fickle and there are cracks in the team and my plan is to cement the cracks."
- Survival of the Fittest continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2
