The Spice Girl suggested she knows the identity of the culprit through the use of some rather telling hashtags.

Mel captioned the snap: "Really? Ok when I wake up to do my school run, and wow my Range Rover tyres are slashed.

"And you don't think I know who you are, haha, it's laughable. #ISeeYou #MonsterDevil #ButImHappyWithoutYou #SingleLifeProblems #FakePeople #MentalAbuseAwareness."

However many of Mel's followers were left thinking the damage could be down to her own driving.

One follower said: "If you zoom in you can see another chunk of tire torn and a huge gauge out of her rim. It's from hitting the curb. You can see two scratches near the one she posted as well."

Another added: "You can see the mark where you hit the curb."

A self-proclaimed tyre expert added: "That's not a slash, looks more like you hit the curb and also drove on it flat @officialMelB, I been in the tire game 10 years, just my opinion."

Other fans were on hand to support 42-year-old Mel, writing: "Best to just take the high road and move on with your day."

Another supportive fan added: ";Ugliness at its finest honey, stay strong, onwards and upwards to better things."

Mel is expected to reunite with the Spice Girls later this year for a huge world tour and an international TV show.

Recent reports suggest that Mel was the first to sign on the dotted line and that the other four girls quickly followed suit.

The iconic girlgroup broke the internet last month when they were pictured together for the first time in six years.
