MARY Berry makes a saucy TV return on Monday night — with a series of cheeky innuendos.

The former Great British Bake Off judge, 82, outrageously flirts with hunky Swedish chef Niklas Ekstedt, who at 39 is 43 years her junior, on the first episode of BBC1’s six-part series Classic Mary Berry.

Niklas kneels in front of Mary to build a fire

In one scene of her new cooking show Niklas kneels to build a fire and she giggles: “It’s a long time since I’ve had a man on his knees in front of me.”

The pair then make meatballs in the first of BBC1’s six-part, Classic Mary Berry.

And Mary adds: “Will there be a sauce for them? I like a bit of sauce.”

Later, they whip each other with tree branches while foraging in the countryside for wood. Niklas says: “These are the branches we use in the sauna to whip each other.”

Mary quips: “That sounds exciting. How do you do it then? And you’re in the water together? Sounds quite good fun. I think I’m coming to Sweden.”

In a voiceover she adds: “Well Niklas certainly knows how to have a good time.”

Mary has been married to husband Paul Hunnings since 1966 and the pair have two children together.

Chef Niklas Ekstedt is famous for his open fire cuisine and has previously worked at Heston Blumenthal’s The Fat Duck.

Later Mary defended her love of boozy deserts.
