Emmerdale spoilers: Brenda Walker torments Laurel Thomas as she reveals she’s marrying Bob Hope despite his affair
What does she know?
LAUREL Thomas thinks she and Bob Hope have managed to get away with their sneaky snog at Mulberry Cottage when Bob’s fiancée Brenda Walker delightedly tells her that they’re tying the knot as quickly as possible.
It’s a close call for the duplicitous pair when Brenda walks into Laurel’s, while she and Bob are getting passionate in the kitchen this week.
Bob is sent into a tailspin when word reaches him that Laurel has been involved in a car accident and he worries she could have been killed.
Luckily for Laurel, she was only clipped by Jimmy King’s car when he was reversing, but it’s enough to throw her and Bob back into each other’s arms.
When a distraught Bob visits her at home, they’re soon kissing passionately until Brenda walks in.
But Laurel is relieved when Brenda happily chats to her about the wedding next week and Laurel congratulates them both.
Meanwhile, Brenda has told Dan Spencer that they’re setting a date for the wedding as soon as possible.
A torn Bob tries to convince himself that marrying Brenda is the best idea, but it’s not long before he and Laurel are sharing furtive longing glances, and they’re not unnoticed by Brenda.
