Ferne McCann ‘will visit ex Arthur Collins in jail for new TV show despite saying she’d NEVER see him again’, say reports
FERNE McCann will reportedly visit her ex Arthur Collins in prison for her new TV show, according to Heat magazine.
The former Towie star had vowed never to see him again after visiting him once following the birth of their daughter Sunday.
Collins was sentenced to 20 years after carrying out a traumatising acid attack in a London nightclub which left 14 people injured.
It was revealed in January that Ferne had taken her baby daughter Sunday to visit the acid attack thug where she reportedly told him that "he won't see either of us again".
Ferne documented her pregnancy on ITVBe show First Time Mum and The Sun revealed she will finally speak openly about her acid attacker ex in the second series.
But now new reports claim producers want her to film visiting Collins in jail.
A source told Heat magazine: "The producers want her to talk on screen about Arthur and to be allowed to film if she visits him. They'd even like some of his family to star in the series.
"She'd prefer it to be about her life as a single mum and her beauty products, but that won't attract viewers in the same way.
"Arthur was front-page news for months when he was on trial, and the show's bosses want to appeal to that audience."
Ferne is believed to have started filming the second instalment of the reality series last week.
An insider told The Sun: “Ferne has completely thrown herself into being a full-time mum and she’s really excited to share more of her and Sunday’s adventures with her fans after being given three hour-long shows.
“During the last series, Ferne spoke about coping with pregnancy at the same time her ex-partner was on trial for an acid attack that took place last April.

“And she’s already told producers that she’s happy to speak about Arthur again following his jail sentence – and her plans of making a life without him.
“She’s also planning on opening up about getting back in shape and losing her hair after the birth of Sunday.”
The programme will also once again have intimate access to Ferne’s close circle of family and friends, including her former Towie co-stars James Argent and Billie Faiers.
The Sun Online have contacted Ferne's rep for comment.
