Paddy McGuinness’ wife Christine joins The Real Housewives of Cheshire after her husband was snapped with Nicole Appleton
IF PADDY MCGUINNESS hoped things would quieten down following his recent marriage crisis, he’s heading for disappointment.
The Take Me Out host’s wife CHRISTINE has signed up to star in tacky reality show The Real Housewives Of Cheshire, and will appear in the new series when it airs next month.
The model’s decision to let cameras into her home comes after she was devastated by snaps of her husband with his arm around singer NICOLE APPLETON.
A TV insider said: “Christine has been given the chance to be in the spotlight.
"She has been through a tough since feeling betrayed by Paddy and is looking forward to having a new focus.
“It’s not great news for Paddy who’s already seen enough of his private life scrutinised.
"She’s already filmed some scenes.”
The fly-on-the-wall show, which returns next month, follows well-off women, including footballers’ wives TANYA BARDSLEY and LEANNE BROWN, in Cheshire.
The series has already become notorious for bust-ups between the cast and their pals.
An ITV spokeswoman said: “The new series will be returning to ITVBe in March. Friends and familiar faces will be popping up along the way.”
Paddy found himself in the dog house last month after being pictured out with former ALL SAINTS singer Nicole in London, prompting Christine to post on social media hinting at her heartbreak.
The pair now look to be back on good terms.
But with the cameras turning up regularly, he might soon want to get away again . . .
