When does Action Team start on ITV 2?

Action Team will air on Monday March 5 at 10pm on ITV 2.

The first two episodes will be shown back to back with episode two starting at 10.35pm.

The series has a total of six episodes which will air at the same time each week.

Viewers will be able to catch up on any missed episodes online with the ITV player.

What is Action Team about?

Action Team follows the comical endeavours of a special branch of MI6.

The team is made up of four secret agents each with their own special talents.

There is the heroic Logan Mann, martial arts and bomb expert Monica Lang, sniper Graham Hooper and Huxley, who’s on work experience.

The spies must fight against an evil Russian republic headed by the inept Vladimir Schevchenko.

The comedy has been developed by the same team behind BBC Three’s Murder in Successville.

ITV has described it as The Bourne Identity meets The Naked Gun.

Who is in the cast of Action Team?

BAFTA winning actress Vicky McClure best known for her role as Lol Jenkins in This is England plays the role of Ruth Brooks who is head of operations.

Tom Davis who starred in the ITV 2 comedy Plebs appears as the good spy Logan but also plays the role of evil Russian leader Vladimir.

Scottish actor Derek Ridell who has been in Ugly Betty and Waterloo Road plays the trusty assistant Anne.

The British actor and writer Jim Howick who has appeared in Horrible Histories and comedy Loaded is cast as the Graham, the crack sniper.
