Spice Girls manager Simon Fuller hints Victoria Beckham WON’T join the reunion but group WILL go on tour
SPICE GIRLS manager Simon Fuller has given fans a glimpse into the much anticipated reunion – and it’s both good and bad news.
Speaking to in West Hollywood, the manager played coy about what to expect from the upcoming reunion, and has even hinted one may not be involved at all.
As he headed towards his car, Simon was asked about whether Victoria – who has always been apprehensive about performing with the band again – has finally agreed to perform for the tour.
He responded: “It maybe four, but not five.”
When also quizzed about Mel B saying that the Spice Girls will be performing at the Royal Wedding later this year, Simon appeared to be apprehensive and said: “I’m not sure that will happen! Maybe she knows something I don’t.”
Mel appeared to confirm that all five of the girls would be attending Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding in June while chatting on US talk show The Real earlier this week.
While she confirmed all five of them had been asked to attend, she remained coy about whether or not they would be performing.
Mel's co-stars screamed when she told them the news but wouldn't budge when asked about certain details, including what Harry and Meghan's wedding invite look liked.
Mel sternly said: “I'm not saying any more,” but when she was asked whether they would perform or not, she grinned and looked down at her hands.
As the audience clapped Mel laughed and said: “I'm going to be fired!”
The five piece girl group – comprised of Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, Geri Horner, Mel B and Mel C – sent fans into overdrive when they all met up together for the first time in years.
Earlier this week TMZ reported that the five-piece would be embarking on a tour of the US and UK this summer after teasing a reunion following the meeting.
Emma returned to her Heart FM breakfast show and confirmed: “There’s lot of opportunities for us especially right now, needing a bit of girl power in the world.”
However, Victoria appeared to shut down the rumours, and shortly afterwards told magazine: "I'm not going on tour. The girls aren't going on tour.
