SHOCKING new pictures show Katie Price covered in bloodied bandages with drainage tubes hanging out of her head after undergoing an op to fix a botched face lift.
The 39-year-old had the op after claiming a surgeon “f***ed up” her face in September and earlier today praised Dr Frank Plovier for fixing it.
Katie, who is in the middle of sorting her divorce from her cheating husband Kieran Hayler, flew to have the surgery in Brussels earlier this week.
The former glamour girl's face was swollen and bruised after the surgery and she had drainage tubes in her head to collect blood oozing out of her wounds.
Rather than just lifting the sagging skin around her eyes, the op had left her face agonisingly tight. And her startling new appearance shocked fans who watched her soon after on ITV’s Loose Women.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun on Sunday, Katie admitted she had “jumped into” that op without researching the procedure.
And she vowed never to have facial surgery again.
Katie said: “Choosing the right place to do the right procedure is vital. Maybe, with hindsight, I should have thought twice before jumping in. I wasn’t happy with the outcome last time and didn’t like the way I looked.
“This is the last time I will have surgery on my face.”
Katie's eyes were puffy with large purple rings underneath them and her face was covered with painful-looking marks.
Although she could walk a few metres, a pal later stepped in to help and put Katie into a wheelchair to help her to her car.
A source close to Katie said: “She was really horrified when she saw the effect of the thread lift surgery.
“She felt it couldn’t have been worse and the whole operation had been botched.
“Much as she didn’t want to go back, she insisted they take out the strings and reverse the damage. It was a very painful procedure, but there was no way she could live with that damage.
“To add insult to injury, she was receiving loads of abuse from trolls on Twitter, comparing her to plastic surgery addict Jocelyn Wildenstein. Katie doesn’t let remarks like that get to her, but some were horrible.”
It will take weeks for the bruising and swelling to go down and mum-of-five Katie will have to abstain from wearing make up for some time.
Katie is now recovering from the surgery and will have her bandages changed regularly to ensure the wounds on her face do not become infected.
Last month she couldn’t hide her anger at the surgeon who “ruined” her looks.
Shortly afterwards she spoke at the Cambridge Union and said that people still wanted to look like her, despite having previously botched procedures.
She told the audience: “People have surgery to look like me even though my surgery went wrong and I'm getting it sorted on Wednesday.”
Katie had her first face lift in September last year - sharing the gruesome video of the procedure online for fans - which was designed to lift sagging cheeks and jawline.
Then in November she went to a cosmetic surgery clinic in Turkey for dental work, but shocked fans during a red carpet appearance soon after when an allergic reaction to penicillin made her face swell.
She opened up on Loose Women about the botched dental surgery she had in Turkey, saying she'd fallen ill after being given antibiotics following the procedure.
