Mel C reveals the Spice Girls’ children have ‘mixed feelings’ about girl band’s reunion
MEL C has revealed how the Spice Girls' children have "mixed feelings" about their reunion.
The Sun revealed how the 90s girl band were reuniting last month after six years to discuss new projects.
While fans were excited at the thought of a possible tour or TV endeavours, Mel - aka Sporty Spice - has revealed how some of their children have reservations about their plans.
Speaking to the Mirror, she said: "I think they have mixed feelings."
Mel has daughter Scarlet, nine, while her band mates Mel B, Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton and Geri Horner have a further 11 children between them.
She added: "All of them like the idea and Scarlet is definitely proud but at the end of the day she would really rather have her mummy all to herself.
“The children are super-proud of their mums.”
The 44-year-old's comments comes after The Sun exclusively revealed how the friendship between Geri and Victoria has become a little fraught.
While Geri, 45, sees herself as the unofficial spokesman for the newly reformed group, her “taking charge” mentality has been a bitter pill for Posh to swallow.
And Victoria, 43, has responded by taking the lead when it comes to their merchandising plan.
A source said: “A bit of a power struggle has broken out.
"Geri seems to see herself as the boss and has been firing off ‘taking charge’ emails. At the moment these come on an almost daily basis.

“Victoria has tried to take control of the merchandising and already has people working on the designs. But the last time she stressed that, Geri steamed in and said that everything needed to be approved by everyone, and that she should send Geri the new designs.
“It’s all a bit playground, but tensions are building.
"Mel B and Mel C are trying to stay out of it as much as possible, while Emma Bunton is acting as the peace-maker.
But sources close to the girls insisted they are all getting on and are very excited about the reunion.
