Spencer Matthews to snub old Made In Chelsea pals when he marries Vogue Williams
SPENCER Matthews will snub his former Made In Chelsea pals when he marries model Vogue Williams.
The former star of the E4 series says he hasn’t spoken to most of them since his departure in 2015.
One of the MIC cast members who will be invited is long-term pal Jamie Laing who has also declared himself as best man.
Asked if they were invited to the wedding, Spencer, 28, told the Sun’s Bizarre column: “I doubt it.
“I haven't spoken to many of them since the last day of my filming which was two and a half/three years ago.”
The posh boy, one of the star’s of E4’s news show Five Star Hotel, got down on one knee and popped the question to Irish model Vogue less than a year after meeting on The Jump.
He surprised Vogue, 32, in January following a West End production of The Lion King.
But since then he claims the loved-up couple haven’t discussed the big day, which will likely feature his brother James and new wife Pippa Middleton, sister of the Duchess of Cambridge.
Spencer has ruled out reports Jamie will be his best man, but confirmed there will be an invite in the post for his platinum-haired mate.
He said: “We haven't discussed the wedding once since the engagement.
“We're not sure yet (when it will be).
“Jamie's not going to be best man. He's declared himself as best man but he's not. Jamie's a very good friend but he thinks he's everyone's best mate. He's a great pal, he'll be at the wedding.”
Star of Celebrity Bake Off Jamie, 29, declared himself best man saying: “I'm going to be best man...I haven't been told that yet but I'm taking it on.
