Towie’s Chris Clark and Amber Dowding split after being axed from the show
The loved-up pair left Towie because they were 'so happy together' but The Sun Online can reveal the pair have now split up and gone their separate ways
TOWIE stars Amber Dowding and Chris Clark have split up after two years together, The Sun Online can reveal.
The couple, who recently got axed from the ITVBe show, have drifted apart and "never spend any time together" say friends.
“It’s amicable,” says a friend of the pair.
“They spent a lot of time together while filming Towie but now they’re not on the show they’ve spent less and less time with one another and they’ve drifted apart.”
A source close to Chris said: “He's only 23 and has a lot of living to do, he wants to focus on his car business and other suitable TV work.”
The pair had only just moved in together, buying their own Essex house just before Christmas and documenting the whole thing on social media.

In January, they were both given the boot from Towie and Amber told The Sun Online that it was because she was TOO happy with Chris and had no drama to bring to the show.
“We had a meeting and it was a mutual feeling that it was time to move on. I've got nothing but respect for the cast and crew,” she said.
Hinting that the lack of drama with boyfriend Chris was behind the decision, she added: “Chris and I are in a really good place. We all come to a time in our lives when you're looking for what is coming next.
“I'll miss the people on the show, I have genuine friends on Towie. Like Tommy and Georgia - they're my genuine friends. I'll miss seeing them on screen but I see them all the time anyway.
“In fact, there's nothing I won't NOT miss, but I'm looking forward to what's coming next.”
Chris and Amber first split in 2016, and Chris moved on to date Little Mix’s Jesy Nelson before getting back with Amber months later.
