Made In Chelsea’s Sam Thompson says he’s moved on from Tiffany Watson
The reality star reveals his ex is now part of his past as he sets his sights on his own chat show
Four years after joining Made In Chelsea, the reality show following West London’s most privileged young toffs, Sam Thompson is one of its leading stars – but he’s not letting it go to his head.
“No one’s got a monopoly on this show,” says the 25 year old.
“You only get jealous about new people joining if you don’t have anything going on in your own life.
"As long as they make the show better, I’m happy. But if they’re boring or lame, I’d be like: ‘You can go!’”
There are some new faces joining the cast for the 15th series, but there are also lots of old favourites returning.
“It’s nice because this series harks back to the bromances,” says Sam. “We see [Oliver] Proudlock back in full force, Francis [Boulle] is in it more, Jamie’s [Laing] being Jamie – and there’s a new girl on the scene for him.”
One major difference is that Sam’s ex, Tiffany Watson, will not appear – and TV Mag gets the impression Sam isn’t entirely sad about that fact.
“We don’t speak,” he says. “Tiff is a part of my life, but she’s a part of my past. We’ve gone down different paths…”
Despite having recently appeared on E4’s Celebs Go Dating, Sam says he’s single. He may not have found love on that show, but he did become best pals with TOWIE’s Gemma Collins.
“The GC is awesome,” he smiles.
“I don’t find her scary as I’m the type of guy who’d never p**s her off! She’s got the perfect amount of diva in her – she’s a TV goddess.”
Sam also appeared on Celebrity Big Brother last summer, and although he’s grateful to reality TV, his ambitions lay elsewhere…
“I’m lucky to have had the experiences I’ve had, but I’d love to be a presenter or have a chat show – that would be my dream,” he reveals.
“I’m no Jonathan Ross, so I don’t know if that’ll ever happen!”
