Who is Eleni Foureira?
Eleni Foureria, 31, was born in Albania and lives in Athens, Greece.
She is a singer, actress, dancer and fashion designer.
In 2007 she launched her music career as a member of the band Mystique before going solo in 2009.
So far she has released three studio albums which have been successful in the Greek and Cypriot charts.
Eleni has also been a judge on the Greek version of So You Think You Can Dance.
How was Eleni Foureira chosen to represent Cyprus?
Eleni was chosen to represent Cyprus via the country's national selection programme organised by broadcaster CyBC.
Eleni has previously attempted to represent Greece multiple times in the past decade.
Her first attempt was in 2010 when she came second in the Greek national selection show.
Most recently, she attempted to represent Greece in 2016 and 2017 but was rejected by Greece's broadcaster.
What song is Eleni Foureira performing at Eurovision 2018?
Eleni is performing the catchy pop track Fuego.
The song was composed by Greek-Swedish songwriter Alex Papaconstantinou.
The song title was announced to the public on January 25 and released on March 2.
Fuego is an English language song although the title means "fire" in Spanish.
When did Cyprus join Eurovision and have they ever won?
Cyprus joined Eurovision in 1981 and has participated in the contest 31 times.
Their best results were in 1982, 1997 and 2004 when they placed fifth.
They have participated every year apart from 1988, 2001 and 2014.
Cyprus is notorious for always exchanging 12 points with Greece since televoting began in 1998.

When is Eurovision 2018 and where is it taking place?
The 63rd Eurovision Song Contest started on Tuesday, May 8, 2018, and ends with the Grand Final on Saturday, May 12.
It will take place for the first time in Portugal, at the Altice Arena in Lisbon.
