Maddy Hill

Former EastEnders star Maddy, 27, is best known as tracksuit-wearing tomboy Nancy Carter in the soap.

The actress was regularly seen make-up free with her hair swept back into a top knot, and her favourite outfit was always sportwear and trainers.

But in real life, Maddy looks sensational at red carpet events – gone are the tracksuits, which have been replaced by glamorous gowns, perfect make-up and a stylish blow dry.

Gemma Oaten

Another big fan of tracksuits was Gemma when she was playing Rachel Breckle in Emmerdale.

The actress was always stuck in her casual clothes during her time in the soap.

However, once she left the Dales, Gemma, 33, transformed into a red carpet glamazon.

Lucy Fallon

The actress dresses down to play troubled school girl Bethany Platt and is regularly seen in hoodies with her hair pulled back.

However, Lucy has a very clear sense of style when she gets away from the Cobbles and always looks glam.

Lucy, 22, always looks amazing when she slips into a glamorous frock to attend A-list events.

Tilly Keeper

As schoolgirl Louise Mitchell in EastEnders, Tilly, 20, is generally wearing uniform and comfy casuals.

But in real life, Tilly is all grown up and she always turns heads at red carpet events.

She looks dramatically different in designer gowns as the mingles with the stars on the red carpet.

Connor McIntyre

It’s not just the women of the soap world who get a post-show makeover – Connor looks totally different when he’s not playing evil Pat Phelan in Corrie.

Connor, 57, has a keen eye for fashion and loves his trademark quirky glasses.

He has also been known to rock a velvet suit and quirky hats when he steps out of Weatherfield.

Natalie J Robb

As Moira Dingle in Emmerdale, Natalie often looks less than glam as she roams around the Dales.

The actress always makes an effort when she’s out of character and glams up for red carpet events.

She looks dramatically different with her hair up and a full face of make-up.

June Brown

As Dot Cotton in EastEnders, June, 90, has been wearing an old-fashion wig and dowdy skirts and blouses for more than 30 years.

But, the veteran soap star looks completely different once you get her out of Walford.

June’s real hair is perfectly coiffed into a sharp flapper-style bob and she is regularly seen in sharp suits, bright colours and glamorous dresses.
