From Vicky Pattison to Natalie Cassidy and Scarlett Moffatt – the stars reveal their misery after losing weight for DVD deals
While the celebs might look good while marketing their fitness routines, behind-the-scenes they felt anything but happy
THEY beam out from their DVD covers looking tanned, toned and happy - but the truth behind the smiles of Natalie Cassidy, Vicky Pattison and Scarlett Moffatt is one of misery and worry.
The trio have all experienced the darker side of transforming their physiques for celebrity weight loss DVDs aimed at persuading their fans to follow their examples and shed weight.
After it was revealed this week that Scarlett's drastic weight loss last year was due to her starving herself rather than following a healthy fitness plan, the former Gogglebox star, 27, admitted the process had left her feeling miserable.
Speaking at a body confidence seminar, she said: “When I first came out of the jungle I went through a stage where I felt like I had to try and look a certain way.
“I wanted to try and get out of the stereotypical Geordie girl.
"I stopped wearing fake tan and wore WAG dresses.
"But I was really miserable. I like being orange and having eyelashes that go up to my forehead.”
The TV star shed 3st after winning I’m A Celebrity — supposedly with the help of just a few exercises.
But the Sun on Sunday revealed she also secretly endured a gruelling boot camp and went on a crash diet.
Meanwhile, EastEnders legend Natalie, 34, revealed her desire to keep off the pounds got so extreme that she was bordering on having an eating disorder.
