RESURRECTION

Former EastEnders star Ricky Norwood hints Fatboy could come back from the dead to get his revenge on Vincent

Actor was sacked from the show in 2015, but Ricky insists an Albert Square comeback could be on the cards

RICKY Norwood has hinted his EastEnders character Fatboy could come back from the dead and return to Walford.

The actor played the role from 2010, until he was axed from the show after a Skype video leaked online of him masturbating in 2015.

Fatboy was mercilessly killed off when Ronnie Mitchell (Samantha Womack) hired some men to stuff Vincent Hubbard (Richard Blackwood) in the trunk of his car and kill him by crushing the vehicle.

Unfortunately, Fatboy was mistaken for Vincent as he was driving the car at the time.

Vincent had then rushed to the vehicle, thinking that his mother Claudette had been in the car, but when he opened the boot he was horrified to find Fatboy dead.

But because viewers never actually saw his dead body they were convinced that the character was still alive.

And now Norwood has teased his return, and suggested Fatboy could even get revenge on Vincent Hubbard.

He told magazine: “I think he would probably get some type of online revenge for the Vincent character, and maybe the Mitchells.

“Where he fleeces money from them, and sets up Dot in a nice house…”

He added: “I mean, it’s EastEnders and if you’re a fan of EastEnders then you’ll know that there are many characters that have died and come back.

“So, you know, anything is possible. EastEnders is such a big machine, they’re going 100 different directions right now.

Ricky says it is perfectly normal for his soap character to come back from the dead

“They know my number, I’m still a friend of the family there. There ain’t no hate, there ain’t no animosity.

“You never know, and if there was an opportunity of a storyline that was exciting then maybe.

“But I’m not gonna hold out for it, you can’t in this business.”

Ricky, 31, has previously admitted he’d like to return to the soap.
