Emmerdale’s Charley Webb reveals struggle over two-year-old son Bowie’s separation anxiety
EMMERDALE’S Charley Webb has revealed her two-year-old son Bowie has been suffering separation anxiety since starting nursery.
The 30-year-old soap star told her fans she was struggling to see her little boy hysterically crying every time she leaves him.
Charley, who also has seven-year-old son, Buster, with her husband Matthew Wolfenden, asked her fans to tell her the situation would improve with time.
Reaching out on Twitter, Charley told her followers: “Bowie started nursery about 4 weeks ago.
“One afternoon a week and he is hysterical every time I leave him there. Screaming, crying, hitting. Anyone else had this? Please tell me it gets better!”
Following Charley's plea for help, former Coronation Street star Paula Lane - who played Kylie Platt in the soap from 2010 to 2016 - reassured her it would.
She replied: “Promise it does! Penny just does one day and it takes a little longer to settle that’s all.
Charley appeared to take some comfort in Paula’s words and told her: “Buster was never bothered.
“Bowie’s got full separation anxiety. Praying he grows out of it!”
Charley and her Emmerdale co-star husband Matthew, who plays David Metcalfe, revealed earlier this year how they’re already considering having another baby.
Speaking to Ok! Magazine, Matthew explained: “We'll start thinking about having another baby next year.
“We'd love a girl but I think we're destined to have a house full of boys.”
Charley and Matthew married earlier this year at a top secret ceremony.

The loved up couple, who fell in love after meeting on the set of Emmerdale in 2007, didn’t even tell guests they were getting married and instead told them they were attending Charley's 30th birthday party.
Their 100 guests arrived at Ripley Castle in Harrogate where they were told the surprise news that they would be getting married instead.
Charley then invited her bridesmaids - Lucy Pargeter, Roxy Shahidi, Zoe Henry, Charlotte Bellamy, Sammy Winward, Emma Atkins, Kate Oates and her sister Cassie - and her on-screen dad Jeff Hordley to accompany her down the aisle.
