Nicole Scherzinger agrees to sing at X Factor star Saara Aalto’s wedding as she reveals star-studded guest list
NICOLE Scherzinger has been pencilled in to sing at Saara Aalto’s wedding next year.
The former Pussycat Doll became close friends with the singer after she mentored her on The X Factor in 2016.
Saara, 30, and her fiancée Meri Sopanen have asked Nicole to be a part of their big day and insiders confirmed the 39-year-old was keeping the date free in her diary.
Eurovision hopeful Saara is now busy planning her big day and, in an exclusive interview with The Sun Online, said it would be her dream for Nicole to perform at their nuptials.
Saara explained: “We’re thinking of having a summer wedding. I have already been wedding dress shopping and it was so much fun.
“I love wedding dresses.
“I would love Nicole Scherzinger to sing at the wedding and of course Sharon Osbourne has to attend.
“I saw them both at the Pride of Britain Awards and we all had such a great catch up. Sharon gave me judging tips as I’m now a judge on The X Factor Finland. She said ‘Be you and be bold!”
Simon Cowell has also been added to Saara and Meri’s guest list – despite their rumoured fallout after she quit his music label.
She added: “I will invite Simon too. There was a whole drama that I had left Sony to go to Warner, but there is no bad blood between us at all.
“I’m the X Factor Finland judge we still have a great relationship.
“I’ve invited Matt Terry too because he is a dear friend.”
Saara’s wedding planning will have to take a back seat ahead of Eurovision in May however.
The singer is representing her native Finland in the competition, which is taking place in Lisbon, and will be focusing on giving a winning performance on the night.
Saara said of the competition: “Because I did so well in X Factor UK, Finland were really keen to have me.
“It has always been my dream to do Eurovision since I was a child.”
As well as performing in Lisbon, Saara is also playing a headline show at Under The Bridge in London’s Chelsea on April 25.
