ANDREA McLean has warned women going through menopause to "be careful" after she got pregnant when she thought she couldn't have any more kids.
The Loose Women host, 48, went through "the change" at 37 and found out she was expecting "shortly afterwards".
Andrea, who married third husband Nick Feeney last year, has two children and she has now revealed her second was born shortly after she started going through the menopause.
During an appearance on Lorraine today, she said: "I was 37 when the hot sweats started, mainly at night.
"I was like what?...
"I got pregnant shortly afterwards - there is a rush of hormones afterwards and you need to be really careful around that time."
Andrea had her first child, a son named Finlay, in 2001 with her first husband BBC producer Nick Green.
She had her second, daughter Amy, in 2006 after marrying second husband Steve Toms.
After splitting from Toms in 2012, she went on to find love with third husband Nick Feeney, who she married last year.
During the interview, Andrea also spoke about about going through the menopause early.

She revealed she was expecting it as her mum was also young when she went through it.
Andrea underwent a hysterectomy in 2016 and reveals that was when she felt the full force of the menopause.
She explained: "When I had my hysterectomy in 2016, I nosedived off the cliff and went full on menopausal."
Andrea recently revealed she used to "wear sanitary towels under her armpits" before going live on air on Loose Women when she suffered with hot flushes.
She also divided fans earlier this month when she said menopausal women should wear badges when using public transport so other passengers would cut them "some slack".
She told the: "Women wear badges now on the train that say baby on board and people let them have a seat.
"Nobody bats an eyelid and says, 'Oh my God that’s horrendous, she’s got a baby in there – that’s so gross'...
"[Menopausal women should war] big 'M' badges, or 'hot flush'."
After her interview on Lorraine today, Andrea posted a message on Twitter insisting women should talk about menopause more to raise awareness of the issues.
