Jade Goody’s widower Jack Tweed pays tribute to late star as her grave is decorated with fresh daffodils on ninth anniversary of her death
JADE Goody’s widower Jack Tweed has paid tribute to the reality star on the ninth anniversary of her death.
Jack, who married Jade just a month before her death in 2009, wrote: “Nine years ago today Jade left us. Not a day goes I don’t think of her smile 💙💙 #smeartest #cervicalcancer #rememberjade.”
Jade tragically died following a battle with cervical cancer aged just 27, leaving behind sons Bobby, 14 and Freddie, 13.
Last month Jack marked the date they tied the knot with another tribute.
Alongside a stunning photo of the lovebirds smiling on their wedding day, Jack wrote on Instagram: "Remembering this special day 9 years ago today marrying this beautiful angel, miss you ❤❤❤ #jadeslegacy #smeartest x"
The reality star was laid to rest in the cemetery of Parish Church of St Thomas in Upshire, Epping, Essex, following her shock death in 2009.
Nine years on, her grave is clearly still visited regularly as fresh daffodils have been laid next to a series of pot plants.
Jeff Brazier, who is raising their children, recently revealed that he and Jade's boys visit her grave every Christmas.
He told the Daily Record: "Christmas is the one day of the year when it's most obvious someone's missing. It had to become less about the presents.
"I take them to the cemetery first thing in the morning. Then we have dealt with this, we go home and can enjoy the day.
"They have paid respect to their mum and they don't feel guilty about enjoying the day at home."

Jade’s mum Jackie previously revealed that she marks the anniversary of her daughter’s death by wearing the nightie she died in.
In 2017, she told Now magazine: "It doesn't get easier, I know it's supposed to but it just doesn't. On the anniversary, I sleep in the nightie Jade died in - only on that day.
"I class that as another birthday for her. My way of coping is to sit indoors and have her around me. I have all of her things and a memorial in the garden.
"Eight years on, the pain is exactly the same. Jade was just one big bubble of joy and now there's a big space where she should be. At the moment I'm drowning and I feel like I'm in a big, dark hole."
