Spice Girls coming back as animated superheroes with ‘girl powers’

A Spice source hinted that the series is trying to push the message of girl power

THE Spice Girls have always been superheroes in my eyes and now Simon Fuller is making it a reality.

The girlband’s boss has kick-started their comeback by creating an animated movie featuring characters voiced by all five Spices.

The pop legends – Geri Horner, Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, Mel C and Mel B - will also possess a special “girl power” which reflects their personality, which I’ve predicted here.

A Spice source said: “This is Simon’s brainchild and all the girls are on board.

“The series will really push the message of girl power and production companies are weighing up whether to take it on.”

Spice Girls manager Simon Fuller hints at what's to come for the reunion

I revealed earlier this year the Nineties favourites were making a comeback and were hoping to push the Spice Girls brand on a younger generation.

Geri, meanwhile, has been getting up to mischief by checking out what’s under tennis champ Andy Murray's bedsheets for a Sport Relief skit shown on Friday night.

Cheeky as ever.
