Paddy McGuinness and wife Christine look loved up and happy on day out in Manchester as they move on from Nicole Appleton drama

PADDY McGuinness and his wife, Christine look like they've put their problems behind them as they enjoyed a day out in Manchester.

The couple looked loved-up and happy as they left The Hilton Hotel in Manchester city centre on Wednesday afternoon.

They left their children - four-year-old autistic twins Penelope and Leo, and nine-month-old Felicity at home to attend a menu tasting for their "Twinkle Ball" event.

The event, which will be held on April 28, aims to raise funds for Autism Awareness.

Both dressed in black, Paddy and Christine couldn't stop smiling as they strolled along arm in arm.

Their trip out together comes after The Sun revealed heartbroken Christine, 30, had decided to give Paddy, 44, another chance.

She was devastated when pictures emerged of her husband with his arm around Nicole Appleton in London's Soho back in February.

Hours after the revelation, The Real Housewives of Cheshire star, uploaded a cryptic Instagram post about "good things falling apart".

The post read: "I believe everything happens for a reason.

"People change so you can learn to let go, things go wrong so you can appreciate them when they’re right.

"You believe lies so that you will eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together."

A source close to them both said: “Things were really not good between the couple up until early last week and friends were left fearing for their marriage.

“They have had some very heated and emotional arguments over the last couple of weeks and Paddy obviously had a lot of explaining to do to Christine.

“Christine now believes her husband when he says that nothing romantic happened with Nicole and he has managed to win back her trust.

“The happiness and welfare of their children is the most important thing for both Christine and Paddy.

“They are determined to stick together as a family and move forwards.”

Christine recently appeared to confirm she had forgiven Paddy by liking an Instagram post about karma.

The note that caught 29-year-old Christine’s attention read: “Don't waste your time on revenge.

“Those who hurt you will eventually face their own karma.”

It comes after The Sun exclusively revealed that Christine, 30, has bagged herself a slot on the Loose Women panel.

And the model-turned-reality TV star could lift the lid on her recent marriage woes with Paddy.

A TV source said: "Bosses are really excited to see how Christine comes across on Loose Women and are already discussing a more permanent role for her.

"They believe her no-nonsense Northern charm is exactly what the show needs.

"Loose Women is always looking to add to its panellists and Christine couldn't be hotter property right now.

"To land her would be a win-win for both sides."
