Great British Bake Off host Noel Fielding dashes to be by girlfriend Lliana Bird’s side as she goes into labour

NOEL Fielding better get his oven gloves on because there’s a bun coming out – and this one will certainly have a soggy bottom.

I can reveal the Great British Bake Off host and Might Boosh comic dashed to be by his DJ girlfriend Lliana Bird’s side over the weekend as she went into labour with their first child.

Noel’s baby was expected to arrive overnight, just as Lliana hit her due date.

A source close to the couple said last night: “Noel has stayed tight-lipped on Lliana’s pregnancy but it is now all systems go.

“Lliana was taken into hospital on Saturday and they have just been playing the waiting game over the weekend.

“They have both been able to take some time away from work for the arrival of their baby.

“Noel will be staying home a lot in the coming weeks.

“The birth of his first child really shows he is settling down and marks the end of Noel’s wild nights out partying.”

The couple who live in Highgate, North London, have been dating for eight years and the comedian has been cutting down his work commitments during the later stages of Lliana’s pregnancy.

She presented her final Sunday evening Radio X show a fortnight ago.

On Thursday she also said on Instagram she was also going to “take a wee time out” from her Get It Off Your Breasts podcast.

The Sun told last month how Lliana was eight months pregnant and she said she was using “preggoboxing” to keep fit.

In 2009, shortly before he met Lliana, Noel said: “I love kids. I would like kids at some point. But apparently you need a girlfriend for that.”

I can barely imagine the sort of bedtime stories he will be conjuring up for the tot.

Flights and sounds

THE BBC is pulling out all the stops for the second series of Sounds Like Friday Night – especially with the travel budget.

Dotty, who hosts the BBC1 music and entertainment show with Greg James, flew all the way to Tokyo, Japan, to interview Little Mix for this Friday’s series opener, which will also feature a string of massive acts.

Years And Years and Snow Patrol will both perform new singles for the first time on live telly, while Meghan Trainor and Halsey will also be belting out their tunes, too.

James Bay and 5 Seconds Of Summer will feature in the second episode on Friday next week, while The Vaccines, George Ezra, Jorja Smith and Kylie will be stopping by later in the series.

Ears to you, Paris

IT takes more than a Cadbury Creme Egg to get Paris Hilton in the Easter spirit.

In typically overstated fashion, she dressed up as a saucy bunny and posed for these snaps to wish a hoppy holiday to her 8.6million Instagram followers.

They come just as her actor fiance Chris Zylka revealed he was “of course” going to sign a prenuptial agreement with the heiress, believed to be worth £200million, after the pair got engaged in January.

That’s probably for the best. Especially as it means just as much cash will go on wacky photoshoots if they split up.

Roman's Bern having a good time

GETTING out of bed for his breakfast radio show has got a little harder for Roman Kemp.

The Capital FM presenter has been dating neuroscientist Anne-Sophie Flury since the beginning of the year – and it’s getting serious.

Roman even flew to her native Bern in Switzerland at the weekend to meet her family. A source close to the host said: “Roman and Anne-Sophie have grown really close and they spend almost every day together.

“They are both career driven but are making time for each other. It just works.

“They have flown to Bern. She wanted to show him around and introduce him to family and friends.” It will give him a break from his parents, Spandau Ballet’s Martin Kemp and singer Shirlie Holliman, prying into his love life.

Roman had said: “If I have a girl on my Instagram, I get texts, ‘Who is this person?’ I’m like, ‘We’re mates’.”

Shirlie will be glad this is the exception.

Too saucy to print

Jo Wood wrote a 300-page book on her 30 years with rock ’n’ roll legend Ronnie Wood – and there’s more to come.

The ex-wife of the Rolling Stones guitarist has said she is releasing a collection of unseen photographs that she took in the band’s heyday.

Jo said: “I’m seeing all these publishers.

“I’ve seen a couple last week and I’m going to see more in a couple of weeks. Once I’ve got the deal then I’m going to go to Ronnie and say ‘this is what I’m doing’.”

But she reckons some of the snaps may be a bit too saucy to print, especially some of those featuring frontman Sir Mick Jagger.

She said: “Oh my God, I wonder if Mick would let me print them? I want to keep it nice and interesting.”

I’m sure it will be if those naughty ones are included.
