When did Candice Brown and Liam Macaulay get married?

The Great British Bake Off winner, 33, and her long-term boyfriend, 31, got engaged in October 2017.

They revealed the good news to , saying: "I get emotional. Because it's been such an amazing year. I feel very lucky.

"I've had such incredible opportunities – GBBO opened so many doors – and to top it off he puts a ring on it.'

Explaining how Liam popped the question, Candice said he took them back to the location where they had their first date in Bedfordshire.

Candice recalled: "He reached into the glove compartment, got out the ring, got down on one knee and said, 'I love you, you are my world. Will you marry me?'

Liam added: "So I proposed in a car park. But it really meant something to us. Candice just cried for five minutes before she could say, 'Yes!'"

The TV star recently revealed that she said her "I do"s with boyfriend Liam Macauley, 31, in a secret wedding in France in September 2018.

It follows her hen do in Las Vegas, after which she hit back at fans assuming she was pregnant because of the way her belly looks in the photos she shared.

Who made the couple's wedding cake?

Naturally, who will create Candice and Liam's wedding cake has been a hot topic.

In April 2018 the bride-to-be revealed on Loose Women that she would not be baking it herself and that it would be an impressive 11 tiers.

She said: "I’m not doing it, I’ve done a couple [of wedding cakes] and it’s the most stressful thing I’ve ever done.”

“My cake, I happen to know 11 really good bakers and they’re all going to do a tier for me. It’s going to be pretty big I think.”

Of the mystery team, which she indicated would be her fellow GBBO contestants including Selasi Gbormittah and Val Stones, she added: "I tasted all their baking so I know they’re all pretty good. They said, ‘What do you want?’ I said, ‘I don’t care, whatever you like’. No, I’m too laid back to be planning a wedding, I’m like, it’ll happen.”

Who is invited to the big day?

Candice and Liam have not revealed their exact guest list.

However, since they are each baked a layer of the wedding cake, it is likely her fellow GBBO contestants all attended.

In the past, the TV star thanked celebrity friends, including Fearne Cotton, Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes for supporting her through her newfound fame, and it is possible they also received an invite.

While starring on Dancing On Ice, Candice was paired with professional skater Matt Evers, who may have made an appearance.

She is also chummy with Paul Hollywood since he crowned her GBBO champion, however it is unclear whether he was there to see her walk down the aisle after the pair were revealed by the Sun On Sunday to have got very cosy at the Pride Of Britain awards afterparty in November.
