Zoe Ball ‘WILL return’ to Strictly Come Dancing spin off show It Takes Two after hinting she’d quit
ZOE Ball will reportedly return to host Strictly Come Dancing spin-off It Takes Two despite hinting she would quit.
The 47-year-old has hosted the BBC2 show since 2011, having previously been a contestant on the main show in 2005.
Her dance partner, Ian Waite, has remained close with Zoe and the pair work together on It Takes Two every Wednesday as they review the celebrities' rehearsal footage.
Speaking to the Daily Star, Ian revealed Zoe had thought about quitting the show, but had changed her mind.
He said: "Last year, or the year before last, Zoe was saying that it was going to be her last year.
"So, during the series last year, I said: 'Are you going to do it again next year because you did say this was your last year?'
"And she said: 'Oh no, I've had so much fun, I'm going to do it next year.'
"[It's] Our seventh year. I'm kind of beholden to Zoe really because if Zoe does it she won't do it without me."
Zoe and Ian, 47, finished in third place during the third series of Strictly, which was won by cricketer Darren Gough.
Meanwhile, The Sun has exclusively revealed how Strictly bosses are struggling to find a replacement for lanky Kiwi pro Brendan Cole - because they aren't tall enough.

Producers on the BBC1 show finally ditched the mouthy professional, 41, after becoming fed up with his behaviour.
But they are ruing their decision because they are struggling to find a performer who matches his 6ft 1in height.
A Strictly source said: “Bosses need a tall dancer to pair up with taller females like Charlotte Hawkins on the show but have been really struggling to find one.
“Many of the show’s professionals may look tall and hunky on screen, but in reality they’re often a lot shorter.
“Most ballroom dancers are naturally shorter than most average men so it’s proving trickier than expected.
“Producers are still sifting through the pile and hope they find the right candidate in time. They have a few people in mind.”
