The Queen actress said the drive for publicity has eclipsed respect for privacy
DAME Helen Mirren has criticised film bosses for putting photos of naked stars online “for everybody to see”.
The 72-year-old Queen actress said respect for privacy had been lost in the drive for publicity.
Dame Helen said: “It used to be if you did a nude scene . . . closed set, no photography.
“Now they put a screenshot on the internet.”
She also said Netflix was devastating film-makers who want their movies to be watched as a communal experience.
Dame Helen, who lives in the US and the UK, also criticised Brexit, saying. "It's very hard to see where (it) is going to take us.
