Will Ant Mcpartlin present Britain’s Got Talent?

The audition rounds of the show were filmed in January and February, before Ant was arrested and subsequently plead guilty to drink-driving on March 18.

Ant crashed his Mini in South West London, which left a three-year-old girl in hospital.

This means that for a few weeks, during the audition rounds, Ant was hosting BGT alongside Dec.

However, now that the live-semi finals are underway, Dec will be presenting alone.

A spokesman for the show confirmed: “Declan Donnelly will host Britain’s Got Talent live shows on his own while Ant McPartlin ‘steps down from his TV commitments for now’.”

A statement from Ant’s publicist said he would be stepping down from TV commitments for the “foreseeable future” while he checks back into rehab.

When are the Britain’s Got Talent live shows?

The live semi-finals having been taking place all week with the grand final is TONIGHT Sunday (June 3).

The shows have previously taken place in a TV studio, but this year they have been at the Hammersmith Apollo.

What happened when Dec hosted Saturday Night Takeaway alone?

Ant’s drink-drive crash occurred during the latest series of Ant and Dec’s Saturday night takeaway.

The show was taken off air for one week, but for the remaining two shows, Dec hosted alone.

In his first solo appearance, he opted to not mention his Ant’s drink-driving charge and looked nervous as he was introduced alone.

Dec looked close to tears as the audience gave him a standing ovation.

But he managed to make light of the situation, joking that he had “twice the work to do” as he revealed what was coming up on the show.

At the end of the show, he thanked viewers and fans for their support.

Dec even flew to Florida to host the grand final alone.
