Mel B suffers a wardrobe malfunction as she leaps into a swimming pool on holiday with friend Gary Madatyan
MEL B's nipple peeked out of her bikini top as she suffered a wardrobe malfunction while jumping into a swimming pool on Saturday.
The Spice Girl, 42, looked to be having plenty of fun as she messed around in Desert Hot Springs, California, with her friend and hairdresser Gary Madatyan.
As she emerged from the water in her blue swimwear, the sun glistened on Mel's skin.
Outside of the pool Mel matched her bikini with a pair of glam heels and wore a garish cover up as she stood beside Gary.
The pair set up camp in the shade, Mel's body looking toned and athletic.
Her sunshine vacation could be the calm before the storm as ex-husband Stephen Belafonte has reportedly assembled his legal team and plans to sue over her forthcoming tell-all book detailing their bitter split, claiming she will "make up lies".
Mel recently announced that she had signed a deal for her autobiography which will "set the record straight" following her bitter break-up from her "abusive" ex-husband .
Mum-of-three Mel has already struck a deal with publisher Hardie Grant to tell her "explosive and moving" life story.
The book will cover her childhood on a Leeds council estate to her rise to fame with the Spice Girls and recent TV career, but with a particular focus on her relationship with "domineering, controlling men."
A statement from the singer and TV star said: "I have kept silent for a decade, but after a very public court case, I want to set the record straight... This book will show that abuse can happen to anyone.
"It is important that my three girls, who I raise as a single mother, know how to break the chain of abuse - along with any other woman who reads this book."
But Stephen has reportedly hit back at the book, said to be called Brutally Honest and set to be published in November 2018.
Friends of the US movie producer - who was with Mel for 10 years - is confident of winning libel actions in Britain.
A source told the Daily Mirror: "While thousands of court papers were published detailing Stephen and Mel's claims, they were all in the US.

"Now if she makes the allegations in the UK, Stephen wants lawyers to assess whether she is libelling him, as British laws are so much tighter."
The pair's shock split last year immediately turned toxic.
Mel accused Stephen of being abusive, and he alleged that she was a cocaine and booze addict.
She reportedly decided to write the book to recoup some of the £6.5million payout she made to Stephen in December to settle their vicious divorce.
They are currently locked in a custody battle over Stephen's visitation rights to 10-year-old Angel, whose biological father is Eddie Murphy.
But Mel's mum Andrea last month shared a heartbreaking letter she claims was written by her granddaughter Angel about Stephen.
She shared the notes on Twitter, saying they were a “cry for help” and alleged that she had “heard Stephen hitting mommy’s hand” and was "scared" of his behaviour.
