Katie Price slams doctor who warned her she will damage her new face if she runs the marathon two months after surgery
The 39-year-old had a second facelift in February after claiming a surgeon 'f***ed up' her face in September
KATIE Price has slammed the doctor who warned her against running the London Marathon, less than two months after having her second facelift.
The outspoken former glamour model, who had the op after a surgeon "f***ed up" her face in September, is determined to complete the race regardless.
A medical expert advised that the 39-year-old doesn't run on Sunday as her face hasn't had enough time to heal from the surgery.
But speaking to new! magazine, Katie hit back saying: "I'm not here to talk about surgery. It's absolutely irrelevant.
"That's s**t. That doctor should be struck off. He doesn't know when I have my face done."
Katie added: "B*****ks to him!"
It comes after friends of Katie revealed to The Sun Online that she had been struggling to train for the race on 22 April because of her recent facelift.
In March her friend told us: "Katie only had the surgery on her face a month ago, and she needed to rest to help it heal,
"Before that, she'd been trying to train by running on the treadmill in her gym, but the surgery put a stop to that.
"She's naturally quite fit because of all the horseriding she does, but she’s very out of practice with running."
"She's tried to get back into it slowly after the surgery, but Katie’s not a natural runner."
Our insider added: "Katie is running this for her mum, so she just won’t stop, even if she's badly hurt.
"Everyone’s worried she could do permanent damage."
Ahead of the 26-mile run, Katie, has also admitted that she has only managed to run "about nine" miles in training as her "knees are destroyed".
Katie said: "[My knees] buckle now. Between two to six miles, they're gone, my knees are destroyed.
"But there's absolutely no way I will pull out. This is for my mum, it's important.
"Whatever happens. I don't care if it takes me a week. I am crossing that line.
"If my knees are damaged, they're damaged. What can I do?"

She added: "I don't really care because I'm doing it for my mum."
Katie announced her plan to run the marathon in honour of her terminally ill mum, Amy, back in January, saying: "My mum means the world to me and the news of her diagnosis was a huge shock.
"I am proud to be running the London marathon to raise awareness and vital funds for the British Lung Foundation. One in five people in the UK are affected by lung disease and millions more are at risk.
"Running 26 miles may seem like a big challenge, but it is nothing compared to what my mum and others living with IPF and other lung conditions go through every day."
