Hollyoaks’ Jazmine Franks hints she could return to the soap after shock exit

JAZMINE Franks has hinted that she could return to Hollyoaks after her shock exit.
The actress has played fan favourite Esther Bloom on the soap for seven years but is leaving because the "time was just right".
Jazmine filmed her final scenes for the Channel 4 soap last month and will exit the village of Chester on screen in a few weeks' time.
Her on-screen grandmother Helen Pearson (Frankie Osborne) left the show last year, and she thinks it was about time she did the same.
Discussing her departure with the MailOnline, the 26-year-old said: "I've been there nearly eight years now and the cast have felt like my family. It just felt right.
"Esther is really upset with Jack, and she's still upset about her gran leaving. She's questioning her place in the family."
Speaking about her last day on set, she said: "It was so sad, I've been there so long, a lot of the cast I will still stay in touch with.
"It was weird clocking in for the last time and going into the canteen for the last time."
But Jazmine, who recently revealed that she is training for the British Powerlifting Championships, might make a return to the show.
"I'll literally do anything! I've never been in this situation, since I actually quit university after landing the role in Hollyoaks."
She added: "I would like to give theatre a go.
"'I would say more plays, I would love to work with the Royal Exchange Theatre since it's my local.
"I'd like to do something more serious, where I'm not playing the same character every day."

It comes after the Hollyoaks spring trailer was released.
Esther can be seen pleading with Jack Osborne (Jimmy McKenna) to dump his fiancee Darcy.
She says: "She's out to steal everything from this family. You should be protecting us, not her. Sack the marriage off and kick her out."
- Hollyoaks airs weeknights on Channel 4 at 6.30pm and E4 at 7pm.
