Mel B sunbathes topless as she laps up the sunshine on the last day of her holiday with BFF Gary

MEL B definitely won't have to worry about tan lines after being pictured sunbathing topless on the final day of her holiday.

The Spice Girl has been enjoying a well-earned break at the five star Desert Hot Springs resort in California with her best friend Gary Madatyan.

Clearly keen to lap up the last few hours of sunshine before she heads back to work and her family, Mel, 42, ditched her coral pink bikini top.

Showing off her breasts as well as her array of tattoos, Mel made sure she had plenty of sun lotion on and got BFF Gary to apply it to the places she couldn't reach.

With her hair up in two mini buns on either side of her head, Mel lay down on her front to top up her tan on her back as she chatted with her pal.

Mel had already flashed her boobs during the trip - although the first time was an accident - as her nipple popped out of her bikini top after jumping in the pool for a swim earlier in the week.

Her holiday comes after it was revealed she will be releasing a tell-all book in which she will "set the record straight" following her bitter break-up from "abusive" ex-husband Stephen Belafonte.

According to The Bookseller, the singer has agreed to write a follow-up to her 2003 memoir, Catching A Fire, in light of her high-profile divorce.

The new title is said to be called Brutally Honest and is scheduled to be published in November.

The America's Got Talent Judge said of the autobiography: "I have kept silent for a decade, but after a very public court case, I want to set the record straight.

"This book will show that abuse can happen to anyone.

"It is important that my three girls, who I raise as a single mother, know how to break the chain of abuse—along with any other woman who reads this book."

It's believed Hardie Grant have snapped up the rights to publish the book, which will detail everything from her years growing up on a council estate, to joining the Spice Girls.

It also promises to delve into her relationships with "domineering and controlling men".
