PREVIOUSLY unseen photographs of Dale Winton have been revealed since the news of his tragic death yesterday.
The pictures show the television legend as a happy, carefree youngster before he became one of the country’s most loved stars.
Since he passed away, there has been a huge outpouring of grief for Dale, who died aged 62.
Earlier this evening, David Walliams cried as he paid tribute to his dear friend.
Now pictures of the Supermarket Sweep star from before he found fame have come to light.
One snap shows Dale with his beloved parents during a day out when he was just four-years-old.
He beamed for the camera as he enjoyed a Christmas Day meal with them at the Cumberland Hotel in London in 1959.
Sadly, Dale’s father Gary died on the day of his Bar Mitzvah and his mother Sheree took her own life shortly after he turned 21.
Dale had previously said how much the death of his parents affected him and, in his interview, BGT star David said Dale had never got over it.
One snap shows him posing with his extended family in his aunt’s back garden.
While another picture shows Dale beaming as he posed with his cousin Amanda on her wedding day.
Amanda told this evening: “I remember when he came to tell me that he had this new job on a programme called Supermarket Sweep.
"We were close before that. Things really took off from then and he worked very hard and we didn't see as much of each other.
“He was a very generous and genuine person. There are only positive things to say.”
Since the sad news of Dale's death was revealed, friends have said he was struggling with the ageing process and said he'd “had enough”.
