Who’s in the Venom cast? Tom Hardy, Jenny Slate, Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed, Woody Harrelson star

VENOM will be hitting the cinemas in October, and many superhero fans are already excited.

But here’s everything you need to know about the all star cast…

Who is playing Venom?

Tom Hardy will be playing Venom, also known as Eddie Brock.

Eddie is a journalist, who is trying to get a story about Dr. Carlton Drake, played by Riz Ahmed.

But then, after confronting Drake, Hardy starts to feel ill — and then his transformation begins.

Venom is the result of Dr. Carlton Drake’s experimentation with an alien symbiote.

This is obviously not Tom’s first role on screen, as he has starred in a variety of films, including Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and Mad Max: Fury Road.

He has also been in BBC dramas Taboo and Peaky Blinders.

Who is playing Carlton Drake?

Carlton Drake will be played by Riz Ahmed.

Carlton Drake is the of Life Foundation in Marvel Comics, and in the film he is the person who changes Eddie Brock into Venom.

Riz Ahmed, also known as by his stage name Riz MC, is a British actor, rapper, and activist.

He was initially known for his work in independent films, before his break-out role in Nightcrawler in 2014.

Who is playing Eddie’s girlfriend, Ann Weying?

Michelle Williams will be playing Ann Weying.

She achieved public recognition for her leading role in Dawson’s Creek from 1998 to 2003.

She followed it by featuring in small-scale films, until her Oscar nominated performance in Brokeback Mountain.

The actress was in a relationship with the actor Heath Ledger for three years, with whom she has a daughter.
