Towie’s Lydia Bright reveals she’s been in secret relationship with boyfriend Lee Cronin for a year

TOWIE’s Lydia Bright has revealed she has been secretly dating her boyfriend Lee Cronin for a year.

She had said she was single in October and had a new man in February.

But she told the Sun’s Bizarre column she hadn't broken up with mechanic Lee and wanted to keep it secret after her long-term relationship with fellow Essex star James ‘Arg’ Argent.

Speaking at the Barefoot House of Sole party, Lydia, 28, said: “We're really, really good. Me and him went to Morocco. I kept it secret for a very long time but we've actually been together for nearly a year.

“We live together. I just had such a public relationship that I just felt it was nice to hold back a bit. There's less pressure.

“I was asked when I was at the Baftas and everyone thought we weren't together and they thought I had another boyfriend. But I've been with him for nearly a year.”

The former The Only Way Is Essex star recently starred in E4’s 5 Star Hotel when she was involved in a number of love interests.

Featuring Spencer Matthews and Joey Essex, the show was filmed in September.

One of her flings on the show was with Ex On The Beach star Ashley Cain.

He said: "One night we had a little kiss but it was nothing more than just a lean over, then it happened and that was it.”

Lydia defended her romances on the show saying her and Lee weren’t exclusive.

She said: “When I did 5 Star we had some time apart because it was so early on in the relationship I went away and I was kind of like, 'look let's not put a label on it' but when we got back we got back together.

“I was out there for two and a half months away so it was quite hard. We were only three months in at that stage. So we took some time out but we were still in contact and more just friends throughout that.

“I met him at the wrong sort of time with regards to work commitments, but then when I came home it made sense.”
