Scarlett Moffatt slams Ant McPartlin dating rumours as ex Lee Wilkinson insists he will win her back

SCARLETT Moffatt has slammed rumours she dated Ant McPartlin as her ex Lee Wilkinson insists he will win her back.

The 28-year-old was linked to the troubled TV presenter, 42, in January but strenuously denied they were anything more than friends.

And speaking to the Daily Mail's You Magazine, Scarlett once again shot down the rumours, saying: "Ant is like my big brother.

"It’s so ludicrous it didn’t even warrant a response. Everyone who knows us knows how silly it is.

"I can laugh about it."

One thing she won't find as funny is her ex-boyfriend Lee's claims that he will win her back.

Scarlett split from the fitness model earlier this month, branding him a "pathological liar" and "a cheat" on social media.

The Sun Online revealed yesterday how Lee had begged the star to take him back, and now he has spoken about his desire to rekindle their relationship, despite being caught texting an ex.

He told The Mirror: "I’m not a cheating pathological liar. I have not actually cheated.

"I think what she said on social media was a bit of reaction, a bit of temper.

“When she did that, it was a bit out of proportion for what it was. But I don’t want to say too much.”

Following the split, The Sun Online revealed how Scarlett had ditched Lee from their holiday to Florida and decided to take one of her best friends instead.

But Lee told The Mirror the pair had spoken while she was in the States.

He said: ";I’m on a week off, I should be in Florida. We’ve been talking on the phone quite a lot.

“It’s difficult because Scarlett doesn’t really want me to say anything as we might be able to sort things out and get back together. I hope we can.”

Lee admits he probably did the wrong thing contacting his ex, who then sent Scarlett screenshots of their conversation.

But he added: "That’s as bad as I have done. I was just being human.”
