Danniella Westbrook comfort eats dessert for breakfast after being arrested twice last month
The former EastEnders actress was arrested both in the UK and in Spain last month but she seemed relaxed as she sat in the sun and enjoyed her food
DANNIELLA Westbrook tucked into a dessert for breakfast this morning as she sat in the Spanish sunshine.
The former EastEnders actress was arrested and locked up last week after an alleged driving offence.
The incident was the second time she’d been nicked in as many weeks after she was previously questioned in Britain over claims she’d “intimidated a witness”.
So, after her troubles, she could be forgiven for relaxing a little and she did just that this morning – by eating a massive dessert for breakfast.
The former Celebrity Big Brother housemate looked relaxed in a red t-shirt and wore her sunglasses on top of her head.
She sat outside as she tucked into her tasty-looking treat and didn’t seem to mind who saw.
Before jetting out to Spain, Danniella appeared in a good mood and told her fans in a social media video: “I’m off to Spain! Hope I don’t get arrested.”
But her optimism was short-lived as just seven days later she was being led away in handcuffs by cops.
The star was left shaken upset when she was stopped from boarding a plane back to the UK.
An insider told The Sun Online: “Danniella hated every second of being in that cell alone – it was awful for her.
“She’ll be coming back to the UK next week now and is holed up with her friends now who are taking care of her.”
She was released on bail after a 12-hour interrogation and was sent home in a standard grey police tracksuit.
The ex soap star is accused of taking £10,000 from a former friend whose business she “tried to destroy on social media”.
She has been ordered to return to Hatfield police station in Hertfordshire on May 6 pending further investigation.
Danniella was arrested in Essex and was driven 40 miles away by police who questioned her until 2am.
A Hertfordshire police spokesperson told us at the time: “The 44-year-old woman we arrested yesterday has now been released on bail until May 6 pending further investigation.”
It is claimed she was asked to voluntarily turn herself in for questioning back in January but she apparently ignored four requests to do so.
An insider exclusively told The Sun Online: “It is suspected that Danniella has taken £10,000 from this woman who she was once friends with.
“It is alleged that Danniella refused to pay the money back and then things turned nasty.
“This woman had considered her a friend and had really helped her out in the past, and paid for a lot of things for her.”
