The Celebrity Big Brother star will take on the leading role of Jack at a small theatre in Wrexham this Christmas
JONNY Mitchell has given up his dream of being on glamorous show Made in Chelsea by accepting his first acting role in pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk.
The Love Island reject will take on the leading role of Jack at a small theatre in Wrexham this Christmas – over a year after a making a name for himself on the dating show.
A source said: “Work for Jonny has really dried up recently so he was chuffed to be offered his first acting job.
“Plenty of reality stars appear in panto and end up making a lot of money from it.
“He’s willing to give anything a go at this stage and it will be great acting experience for him too.
“There was a lot of talk about him joining the cast of Made in Chelsea following his romance with Stephanie Pratt but he’s looking at new opportunities now.”
Jonny previously admitted he would have loved to be in the E4 series – but his chances were scuppered after his romance with Stephanie ended on bad terms and she also left the programme.
He appeared in this year's Celebrity Big Brother but disappointed fans who wanted to see more of his flirtatious side that he became known for in Love Island.
During his time in the villa Jonny wooed the likes of Camilla Thurlow and Tyla Carr and enjoyed a brief fling with Chyna Ellis after he left the show.
Now he's in a relationship with model Danielle Zarb-Cousins and the pair struggle to keep their hands off each other in their affectionate Instagram posts.
