It was announced in early 2018 that Grand Tour host Jeremy Clarkson would be taking on the job of host of Who Wants To Be a Millionaire.
He said “I have always loved the show and am thrilled to be involved with its rebirth.
"I’m a big fan of quiz shows and I’m looking forward to hosting this iconic TV show and hopefully making a few millionaires!”

When did Chris Tarrant host Who Wants To Be a Millionaire?
Veteran broadcaster Chris Tarrant was the original host of the show.
He presented the quiz series from 1998 to 2014
Speaking about why Chris didn't return for the 2018 reboot, his agent told : “Chris thought the programme had run its course.
"He wasn’t approached but if he was, he would have politely turned it down. Chris is delighted it’s back and wishes it well.”
Who hosts Who wants To be a Millionaire in the US?
The US version of Millionaire started just one year after Britain, and had its first episode in 1999.
The show was originally hosted by popular daytime TV presenter Regis Philbin.
Other hosts include Meredith Vieira, Cedric the Entertainer and Terry Crews.
