GABBY Allen was a “shoulder to cry on” for Dan Osborne as he rowed with Jacqueline Jossa, say friends.
The former reality star was on a fitness bootcamp with the Love Island star and onlookers say that Gabby listened to Dan’s relationship woes amid his fights with his wife.
The Sun Online revealed this week how Dan and eight months pregnant Jacqueline - who decided to ‘take a break’ from their relationship earlier this week – fell out after he didn’t answer her messages while away on a retreat in Marbella with Gabby, Steph Davis and Calum Best.
And our insider says that Gabby lent a friendly ear to Dan and listened to his issues.
“Gabby’s a really sweet girl and will always help out anyone who needs a shoulder to cry on,” says the source.
“You can see why Dan found it easy to talk to her.
“When they weren’t working out, Gabby and Dan would often be seen chatting quite intensely.
“Of course, Gabby was going through her own tough times in her own relationship, so that’s probably why she was so sympathetic.”
As The Sun's Bizarre column revealed earlier this week, Gabby split up with her Love Island boyfriend Marcel Somerville after finding out he’d cheated on her with another woman while they were both on holiday together.
Insiders tell The Sun Online that Gabby is so heartbroken she will “never give him a second chance” despite Marcel begging her to take him back.
Earlier this week, Dan hit out at a fan who suggested he was ‘getting cosy’ with Gabby on the retreat, saying: "Cosy with another woman. I am speaking and laughing with a friend.
"But of course a man and and a woman can't be friends in this day and age can they.
"Also you don't know me, don't know how I act.”
Jacqueline appeared on Loose Women today, insisting that she’s “fine” after Dan moved out of the family home to stay with a friend, but refused to address the issue any further.
